These things always fascinate me. Maybe I just find it comforting to know that I have a "type," and that there are other people like me out there! Haha. No but honestly, it's spot on again...and go figure, my top three career matches are "Counseling, Psychology, and Social Work."

Sociology is my major, Psychology is my minor, and eventually I'll be going to grad school for Social Work or Counseling. Ha! Shoulda taken this four or five years ago..

For my Psychology class, one of my assignments was to take a personality test and then have someone that knows me take the same test while answering the questions for me. I was really curious to see if my perceptions of me and Chris' perceptions of me were going to be the same (or at least close..). The test analyzes you based on NINETY character traits, and when we finished...the top ten traits I ended up with for myself were the same as the traits Chris ended up with for me. The best news=it looks like Chris is actually marrying the person he thinks he is! (Haha..totally kidding..although I did entertain the idea of what would happen if mine and his results for me were completely different.) Anyways..I'll attach them here. The first picture is from the test Chris took about me and the second are my results from when I took it.

This is Mrs. Moon. She is Korean and the mother of our friend Amos. She was gracious enough to drive up to Clemson and show seven hungry college students how to make some amazing Korean food. Basically, my kitchen looked like an Iron Chef stadium for an hour..it was insane. She made SO much food in SO little time, and it was all incredible. We've barely made a dent in the leftovers..

I highly recommend Korean food to anyone who hasn't tried it. It's just hard to find around here.
P.S...not only is she an amazing chef, she's a black belt. True story.

There's nothing like the first Wednesday back at House Church after a long break...intimately gathered in a kitchen, eating, talking, praying.

But mostly, the breath of fresh air I can let out in realizing (again) that brutal honesty has a home among these friends. It's remembering (again) that whether through silence or through words there is just pure understanding, pure empathy. You can't make up this kind of raw love..

AND, Praise God for Paul's safe return from Africa! His heart to serve the way he does still amazes me. His stories of Africa are such a great thing to come back to. Let's just hope this weather (and jet lag) don't get to him too terribly bad!

1. I'm finally a Senior! Praise God. How I managed to pull this one off with only one extra semester? Not exactly sure...
2. First morning back at Clemson for the semester, and everything is covered in white.
3. First day of classes of the spring semester=cancelled. (When's the last time that happened..?)

I was rereading an earlier post of mine when I realized that I mentioned the possibility of skiing over the break...which I did. I figured I should write about it, so here I am.

We skied Wolf Ridge up near Asheville, about an hour and a half from Chris' house in Taylors. I must be spoiled from skiing Sugar and Beech..because it wasn't the best. I was with awesome people which always helps, and the memories were worth the sixty dollars in my opinion..but the layout of the runs didn't make much sense, the slopes were packed, and they didn't have a good range of slopes in terms of difficulty..they were either really easy, or pretty hard. Oh, and they had the lift chair speed set so slow you could nap waiting in line...or on the way to the top.

All in all it was fine for a day trip...Sugar would have been a waste because of the commute, but what can ya do? Consider yourself up to date with Wolf Ridge skiing conditions as of the end of 2010. You're welcome!
