Elsie is our second child. Our first, Ellie, was born last June (2013) with some sort of illness that allowed me to carry her all the way to term..but caused her to pass away about 30 minutes after birth. The doctors were sure that this was an anomaly and would not occur again, so we prayerfully got pregnant nine months later. At our 20 week ultrasound, we found out that it appears Elsie has the same thing. We will not terminate, but are determined to pray for her and carry her just as we did Ellie.
