There's nothing like the first Wednesday back at House Church after a long break...intimately gathered in a kitchen, eating, talking, praying.

But mostly, the breath of fresh air I can let out in realizing (again) that brutal honesty has a home among these friends. It's remembering (again) that whether through silence or through words there is just pure understanding, pure empathy. You can't make up this kind of raw love..

AND, Praise God for Paul's safe return from Africa! His heart to serve the way he does still amazes me. His stories of Africa are such a great thing to come back to. Let's just hope this weather (and jet lag) don't get to him too terribly bad!
